BBQ Meatball Sliders

with Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce
time: 15 minutes | serves: 1 to 8
Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp chopped parsley
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce
  • 12 brioche buns
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • To make the meatballs, in a bowl mix ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, bread crumbs, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, chopped parsley, and egg. Mix with a fork to combine.
  • Scoop the meat using a 1/4 cup measuring cup and then form it into meatballs.
  • Place meatballs on a baking pan and put them into the preheated oven. Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and place them in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cover the meatballs with BBQ sauce and cover the pot, allowing them to simmer for about 8-10 minutes.
  • Slice the bun in half and place the bottom half side by side in a greased 13 x 9 baking dish.
  • Place one meatball on each bun, then cover with cheese and top with the tops of the bun.
  • Brush the tops of the buns with melted butter and 1 tsp of Worcestershire sauce mixed together.
  • Place into the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before cutting in between the buns to serve.
