Kickin’ BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich

with Kickin' Barbecue Hot Sauce

  • Pulled Pork
  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bottle Sweet Baby Rays Kickin’ Barbecue Hot Sauce
  • 1 package brioche buns
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Coleslaw Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp Sweet Baby Ray’s Kickin’ Barbecue Hot Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp parsley chopped
  • 1 bag coleslaw mix
  • Pulled Pork: In bowl of slow cooker, combine 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray’s Kickin’ Barbecue Hot Sauce, broth, salt and pepper. Add pork shoulder, toss to coat. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or until pork is very tender.
  • Using 2 forks, transfer pork to cutting board and shred. Return to slow cooker and toss with sauce. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup barbecue sauce. Keep warm.
  • Coleslaw: In large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, garlic, salt and pepper. Toss in coleslaw mix and parsley until well coated.
  • Serve pulled pork in buns with coleslaw, Sweet Baby Ray’s Kickin’ Barbecue Sauce and hot banana peppers.
