Beer-Brined Chicken Wings

with Honey Barbecue Sauce
time: 15 minutes | serves: 1 to 5
  • 1 can of beer
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Canola oil
  • ¾ cup favorite Sweet Baby Ray’s Sauce
  • In a large bowl, add wings and pour beer over them.
  • Dry the wings with a paper towel to ensure the batter will stay.
  • Heat canola oil in a deep pan or Dutch oven to 375 degrees F.
  • Mix dry ingredients in a shallow dish.
  • Dip wings in dry mix and place them directly into the oil until they are golden brown.
  • Remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Place your desired amount of your favorite Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce in a large bowl and add a few wings at a time, toss to coat.
