Inside Out Cheddar BBQ Burger

with Original Barbecue Sauce
time: 30-60 minutes | serves: 1 to 4
Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Barbecue Sauce
  • 2 pounds ground beef, lean 90/10 (80/20 will work fine as well)
  • 4 ounces of cheddar cut into 4 thick slabs
  • 4 brioche buns, split, toasted
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 8 cooked onion rings
  • Original Barbecue Sauce BBQ (undefined)
Instructions
  • Heat grill to high.
  • Divide beef into 8 equal sections, and gently form each section into a patty. Place cheese slab on top of 4 patties. Cover with remaining patties and form around cheese slabs. Make an indentation at the top of the patty with your thumb, make sure the cheese is fully covered with beef on top and bottom.
  • Place burgers on the grill over high heat until both sides are seared, flipping once about 4-6 minutes each side, or until your desired level of doneness.
  • To build burgers, spread barbecue sauce on both sides of the toasted brioche bun. Place lettuce and tomatoes on the bottom bun and top with the burger and onion rings.
  • Top with the top bun and serve.
