Barbecue Beef Sandwich

with Original Barbecue Sauce

  • 3-4 pounds chuck roast
  • 2 large onions sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Red chili pepper flakes to taste
  • 1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Original Barbecue Sauce
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • Original Barbecue Sauce BBQ (undefined)
  • Place roast in a roasting pan, arranging onions and garlic over the roast. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Mix barbecue sauce and wine in a bowl and pour it over the top of the roast.
  • Cover and cook in a 350-degree oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Turn the oven down to 300 degrees and continue cooking for an additional hour.
  • After cooking, pull apart the roast with a fork and mix it in with the sauce in the roasting pan.
  • Serve piled onto sandwich buns or Kaiser rolls.
